Ulas Burkay was born in Izmir, a city known as pearl of Aegean Sea and located in western part of Turkey.

He studied Industrial Engineering at Middle East Technical University, which is an international university well known by its qualified scientific education and research in the Middle East Region and most of its engineering faculties has been accredited by the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology as "substantially equivalent similarly titled and accredited programs in U.S.A.

Ulas Burkay is currently enrolled at Norwegian School Of Management BI and having his masters degree in Information Technology Management.
