Regarding the Metro logo that you recently tried working into the Washington Metro article, I like your line of thinking on that. I have a better version of said logo somewhere, and I'll have to look for it. I think it might fit better on the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority article rather than the Washington Metro article, though, because that logo is used across the board for the whole organization, and not just on the rail system.

Either way, though, I think we can definitely work that logo in somewhere, and I think it will be a valuable addition wherever it ultimately ends up. SchuminWeb (Talk) 03:04, 15 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Metro logo.gif listed for deletion[edit]

An image or media file that you uploaded, Image:Metro logo.gif, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you.

Basically, it's been replaced with Image:Metro logo.png, which is that better version I was talking about. SchuminWeb (Talk) 06:02, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article North Dakota Avenue (Washington, D.C.), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? D. Monack | talk 17:22, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
