I know this sounds crazy but John Goodman is my uncle (Mom’s brother). After a lot of research on 23andMe and Ancestry, I have discovered that we have a lot of Irish ancestry on the Goodman side. Can you please add Irish to the list of ancestral countries?Maximizer35 (talk) 02:11, 7 August 2021 (UTC) Maximizer35 (talk) 02:11, 7 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Any information needs to come from published, reliable sources. RudolfRed (talk) 02:47, 7 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The article says john heilpern, not John Goodman. 75.141.171.165 (talk) 12:40, 15 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. John Heilpern of Vanity Fair has called him "among our very finest actors". It's a quote. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 12:49, 15 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. It's listed under John Goodman on screen and stage, but if you feel this role was particularly notable feel free to come up with some prose with accompanying sources that would fit in this article Cannolis (talk) 19:49, 11 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
In his occupations section, someone added in singer as one of his occupations. Well yes, we know he did do something in some films. But unfortunately he isn’t notable for being a singer, he’s known as just an actor. Any chance if someone can remove? Because he’s only known for being an actor. 2600:1000:B023:F518:50D8:F28D:B9D6:88EE (talk) 03:09, 24 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Done I just took that out. Any singing this guy did is nowhere near as prominent as his acting. SNUGGUMS (talk / edits) 03:34, 24 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Add the borrowers to the movies he’s acted in. 206.131.225.245 (talk) 01:54, 9 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Add: Sea of Love (1989) to his credits. It was a breakthrough film and he co- starred with Al Pacino.
- Not sure why it wasn’t included. 74.71.23.215 (talk) 11:36, 25 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Question: Can you please provide the exact sentence that you want to include? M.Bitton (talk) 18:11, 25 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Not done: marking answered per above comments. Request unclear and the film is listed on the main article about his roles. GiovanniSidwell (talk) 05:30, 26 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I've heard mention that it's a "biographical article", but I've yet to see an actor's Wiki article that has no filmography list section. Has to be a rare thing, yes? TicklesYourTaint (talk) 22:27, 26 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Not sure what to say about "rare", but this definitely isn't the only actor page without one. SNUGGUMS (talk / edits) 23:55, 26 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
