djibril tu va bien? ce bien parce que tu va jouer a marseille bonne chance.

Djibril n'est pas ici...

To the administrator of this site. I included the part which says that Cissé converted from Islam to Christianity. This may not be important but if that is so then so should be the case of Mohammad Ali's conversion or Richard Gere's conversion. Cissé publicly said that he converted to Chrisitanity on Stephane Berne's previous TV show.

What you say may be the case, but it is important that information in wikipedia is verifiable and backed up by references. Can you perhaps provide a link to substantiate what you are saying? In the meantime, I will revert, because I don't think it is appropriate to include unreferenced material in this way, especially given the policy on biographies of living persons. WikiProject class rating[edit]

Did anyone notice that it says he invented the lightbulb in 1998 at the bottom of his personal life section? Also, how verifiable is that comment about his wife helping him get over having 'the koro'... has anyone looked up what that means? I don't think Cisse would be talking in public about something like that, and I would like to see some documentation. GA Review[edit]

This review is transcluded from Talk:Djibril Cissé/GA1. The edit link for this section can be used to add comments to the review.

The article is overall pretty good, however here's a few things that need fixing:

  • The AJ Auxerre section is rather short, given he spent the majority of his career there. Expand this section. Done
  • "Immediate surgery to repair his open fractured tibia followed, ruling him out of the tournament." Sentence fragment. Done
  • "It's so tough to hear Djibril scream like that," said fellow French striker Thierry Henry. "You lose a teammate and also a friend. But he is tough; he will come back." Needs reference. Done - It is referenced at the end of this sentence; "Immediate surgery to repair his open fractured tibia followed, ruling him out of the tournament.".
  • Make sure all cites that have an author contain it in the ref (for example, #30 needs one). Done - Added.

I'll put this on hold, doesn't look like anything too big, it can be dealt with pretty quickly. Wizardman 02:08, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I don't have any other issues, so I'll pass this article. :) Wizardman 18:43, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The stats for this guy have been ultra-manipulated. They must be fixed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Omninovoi (talkcontribs) 15:40, 2 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Should the image be changed so it shows him in a shirt with his latest club QPR? 82.27.242.159 (talk) 19:49, 18 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Djibril Cissé[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Djibril Cissé's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Correction[edit]

Cisse is listed as leaving QPR in 2013. How did he manage to score a goal for them against Man City in 2014? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Coldfall (talkcontribs) 13:05, 13 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Coldfall: Where does it say he scored a goal "against Man City in 2014"? Robby.is.on (talk) 18:30, 13 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
