Seal of NGS should be added[edit]

In addition to the yellow-box logo, the National Geographic Society has a formal seal which it also uses in publications and mailings, and on its headquarters building in Washington, DC. A sample of it can be found here: http://ngstudentexpeditions.com/wp-content/themes/NGSE/images/NatGeoSeal-160x160.png I would like to suggest that a way be found to add it to this article. Thank you very much for your attention. Matt G. Leger 19:38, 2 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

While including the seal is a good idea and it could be integrated through the logo section of the organisation infobox but I'm not sure that it is fair use. If somebody else uploads the logo I will happily add it. El komodos drago (talk to me) 09:27, 24 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Remove tags?[edit]

I've read over the article and looked at the history, and I don't think that the tags belong. NGS did edit the page, but what they wrote has been reverted, and there's no direct evidence that they've done it again. I also don't think the article has a strong POV, either. As there has been no explanation by the tagging editor (or anyone else) about why these should remain, I am deleting them. Toad02 (talk) 14:28, 6 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Can we please get a source or citation for the three topics shown in the |purpose field:

| purpose = [[Education]]<br/>[[Environmental protection]]<br/>[[Historical preservation]]
