Hold on a moment, please -- are you sure this is a film? --KF 22:48, 27 Aug 2003 (UTC)

You're right, KF. My fault Lypheklub 22:53, 27 Aug 2003 (UTC)
A film of the play was released in 1955. [1] TheMadBaron 23:44, 11 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Homosexual offence"[edit]

I don't think this is in the text — it's not specified. (FWIW I thought it was a compassionate abortion.) Tagged. --217.155.32.221 (talk) 18:06, 29 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

User:DJRafe has provided an external reference supporting the contention and my take on the incident, from an audience member's perspective, seems to have been wrong. Thanks. --217.155.32.221 (talk) 13:06, 12 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
From the external references, your first impression, that Miller had committed some sort of homosexual offence, but that it was not immediately evident in the text, seems to have been correct. Rattigan apparently felt obliged to suppress that idea as well for the published play, after his initial drafts. DJRafe (talk) 23:40, 12 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
