I just joined Wikipedia recently, and I am eager to contribute to the effort. I'm a student at Boston College majoring in political science and minoring in history. Academic interests include postcommunist transitions in Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union, the history of the Vietnam War, American federalism, civil liberties, the Cold War, and efforts at preventing nuclear proliferation.

Feel free to comment below! I'll fill this thing out as I get more experience as a user.

I saw that you made a submission to VfD, but removed it shortly after. It seemed like a valid item to list, did you have the change of heart? Also, do you think the instructions for adding items to VfD need work? It's a bit of a kluge, I know.

So, welcome, and I hope you stay a while. If you have any questions, I'll be watching this page. --Ben Brockert 21:31, May 11, 2004 (UTC)

Yeah, I was having a little trouble formatting the VfD link and my comment as to why I thought the article should have been deleted. I actually know the person who put up the Brick Factory page. I didn't find it very encyclopaedic; more an in-joke among some of his friends. I figure at some point it will probably disappear. --Bceaglejoe 20:42, 14 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
