Hi![edit]

I just edited this page because it is so not updated! Feel free to cite comments. Ciao~ -- Obin 3391 13:39, 31 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Article Name[edit]

I've moved the article back to "San Miguel Corporation" as that is the legal name of the company and "corp." is just an abbreviation. This is more in line with the naming conventions for article titles. Also, as per the WP:MOS manual of style, the name of the company should be bolded in the lead line with no linking. Adding an HTTP link to the lead is not needed since the company site is already listed in the external links. -- Whpq 12:39, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Possible Copyright Violations[edit]

The history seems to be copied in part from this history. I suspect that the history is an amlagamation of multiple sources with some wording changes strewan about. This bears further investigation. -- Whpq 12:52, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Plus there are dubious claims as to the copyrights of some of the images. --SunKing 13:32, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Basketball teams[edit]

Can anyone add the basketball teams (Coca-Cola Tigers, Barangay Ginebra Kings, Purefoods Chunkee Giants and San Miguel Beermen, San Miguel All-Stars, Magnolia Ice Cream Spinners) into a proper place? --Howard the Duck 09:36, 15 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:SMC Logo.png[edit]

Image:SMC Logo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
