Tense shifting[edit]

I was reading through this and saw that the section copied below has several tense-shifts and is very confusing. I have no knowledge of this subject, so someone needs to fix this. Here it is:

The Old 2nd Ring Road

The former "old 2nd Ring Road" was rather ellipse-shaped. Its northwest part goes through Xizhimen, its northeast part goes through Dongzhimen, its southwest part goes through Dongbianmen and Xibianmen. Its southern part was connected to the southern end of now-so-called "Metro Road" which goes through Qianmen which is at the southern end of Tian'anmen Square. The article has some good info, but not enough. It is of mid-importance, because it is importance as a main road in the capital city, but not notable in and of itself. --Danaman5 17:16, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
