Another Australian! Hello No1crush. Please don't write articles on Lake Macquarie, because that's where I'm from, and that would be really embarassing. I've been active on Wikipedia for 8 months, and I'm now a sysop, and I still haven't gotten around to writing about my home town :) Well... maybe you can if you really want. Anyway, add yourself to Wikipedia:Wikipedians/Australia. -- Tim Starling 11:22 7 Jun 2003 (UTC)

Hello No1Crush - I'm just curious - why do you refer to Newcastle as "Australia's version of San Francisco"? I'm trying to think of a similarity, any similarity, betweeen Newcastle and San Francisco, and I can't think of one. :-( Trams? Newcastle got rid of its trams in 1950. IT? Newcastle doesn't have much of an IT industry. Coal? SF has none. Gay community? Newcastle isn't really known for it. Golden Gate Bridge? Sorry, Hexham Bridge doesn't really compare. :-) Anyway, cheers from Wollongong, New South Wales' other steel city! Regards, Humehwy - 11:57am Australian Eastern Standard Time, 7th July 2003
