Re: Spin Glass Manganese. Does this not relate closely to several vertebrate "diseases", ie BSE, CJ, vCJ, AD, PD...ALS, IBM, etc.? The Manganese used by Superoxide Dismutase has a short "life" of about 24 hours, is unstable, and is represented in "fibrils" in the longer-term human diseases. My "tracking" of IBM through a maze of many abstracts has led me to this supposition though I had not seen the term and description "Spin Glass" which seems to fit so well with these biological problems.
