I am doubtful that this is, as it claims, an Eastern Gray squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis) - unless it's a trick of the light, or a local coat colour variation, it is much too reddish. It looks much more like a Fox Squirrel (S. niger).

In any case, its appearance is atypical, so I don't think it should be our headline image on the Eastern Gray Squirrel page; I'll put up a more typical one.
