Ishikawa (石川郡, Ishikawa-gun) was a district located in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan.

As of February 2011, the district had an estimated population of 51,976 with a density of 3,830 persons per km2. The total area was 13.56 km2.

Recent mergers[edit]

  • On November 11, 2011 - The town of Nonoichi was elevated to city status to become the city of Nonoichi. Therefore, Ishikawa District was dissolved as a result of this merger.[2]
