I live and work in the United States. I have often worked as a copy editor in an assortment of technical fields. Even though English is my native language, I still find it very challenging, especially after studying and translating some other widely used languages. I deeply sympathize with Wikipedia editors for whom English is not their first language, and sincerely appreciate the difficulties presented thereby.

My contributions at Wikimedia sites are supported by my experience in scientific and technical editing, translation, and publishing; selection of risks in life and health insurance; lay medical underwriting; computer programming in a number of compiled and interpreted languages; computer systems administration and analysis; and formal training of adults in such subjects as typing, software usage, assembly language programming, interrogation techniques, speech and voice control, business ethics and law, customer relations, and sales techniques and efficiencies.

There was no philosophical or religious significance intended in my choice of user name.
