Date of birth & death[edit]

According to the english article she was born on October 20, 1668 and died on January 21, 1705. Accoding to the german article de:Sophie Charlotte von Hannover she was born on October 30, 1668 and died on February, 1 1705. -- 20:18, 7 December 2005 (UTC)

Name[edit]

In Germany she is always known as "SophiE" (not "-a"). Is there a reason you would list a person in a reference work not under HER name precisely in the form she heard and used during her life ?

Reading "of Hannover" I'd get the impression she was the ruling or First lady there, and not in Berlin, as was the case. Is that a general convention, contrary to my expectation ? 147.142.186.54 13:24, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Remembered for ..."[edit]

More people would certainly remember her for the castle her husband had built for and named after her: Charlottenburg ! And the whole district (ca.180 000 inhabitants) of Berlin "around it" received the same name. 147.142.186.54 13:24, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
