Untitled[edit]

"Sisters of the Red Death" is a concept album about a *girl* named Gloria (the lyrics to "Dark Heart Silihoutte" shows clearly that she is School-Age).

Zach Davidson (Frontman of Vendetta Red) said this is in an interview with Alternative Press: "The Sisters of the Red Death were a fanatically Christian offshoot that started in Japan in the 1700s and eventually made their way to Russia. They thought the world was going to end, so they doused themselves in gasoline and set themselves on fire in an act of total religious purification. Every song [on the album] is about Gloria or from her perspective. A religious war breaks out into a nuclear war. There's so much violence and rape - men are ruling the world. After she realizes that, as a woman, her powers of influence are more powerful than theirs, she uses them to control the men. Then Gloria and her followers gain power, and, by the end, she takes over the world."

Hope that helped. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.129.97.32 (talkcontribs)
