Spectophotometry vs. E.M. spectrometry[edit]

In reply to Bensaccount: my feeling is that spm is more specific to near-IR/visible/near-UV and to the study of spectra in the narrow sense of the word. Time-resolved spectroscopy and fluorescence spectroscopy would not really fit. Anyway, this is a rough feeling, it is probably not an official definition. -- Hankwang 11:08, 22 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Wien's law[edit]

Propose Deletion[edit]

I have never heard of a class of spectroscopic techniques referred to as 'electromagnetic spectroscopy', and this article did nothing to clarify what such a class would consist of. The article refers to a variety of spectroscopic concepts and applications that are all already better explained elsewhere. I feel this article could be deleted and the term redirected to the Spectroscopy article.ronningt (talk) 21:21, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
