Well hi guys, this is a bit embarassing and I think I am the butt of a practical joke. You see that is me, I did a google on myself and only came up with one hit so I made the error of mentioning this at work and before you know it the comedians are trying to get me onto everything on the web. I don't know what else they've put me on but I knew to check here as it is my favourite website (along with the Fortean Times)and they know it. So delete me off until I actually do something of note and again I apologise for my cheeky workmates.

Comment: the above by User:Hirsty, presumably the subject of the article (took me a while to work it out). --Ianb 20:11, 8 Sep 2004 (UTC)

I'm not voting, but does this count as notable? — Timwi 05:19, 8 Sep 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete. It definitely fails the google test...It does find one page that shows that Graeme Hirstwood is a martial arts instructor. But that certainly doesn't make him notable. Willing to change my vote if someone demonstrates notability. — David Remahl 05:29, 8 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Timwi's comment is great: he's notable for being the first one to come here and say he isn't notable except as the victim of friends trying to increase his profile. :-) Well, if this is by the subject of the article, it can, I would think, be about the same as an author-blanked page, so it could probably be speedied after some time, if no one comes forward to give us a reason. • It's happened before :) -- Cyrius| 00:38, 13 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete, possibly speedily. --Ianb 20:11, 8 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Well again I apologise for another faux pas on my behalf by not puting my signature/timestamp on. Anyway just delete me (from Wikipedia) before anyone else enters any more supposedly witty entries. The person who entered the Shinto comment may like to rephrase it, as since Shinto is the native religion of Japan it may be hard for me or anyone else to establish it there (no matter what time in history.) --User:Hirsty 10:34, 9 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete - subject says he's not notable, no reason to disbelieve. -- Cyrius| 00:38, 13 Sep 2004 (UTC)
