Untitled[edit]

For many years the Jolly Miller was very popular because it was just beyond the border of a "dry" neighborhood under Ontario's local option laws. I didn't realize that it was closed. Eclecticology 21:22, 2005 Mar 1 (UTC)

Merger Proposal[edit]

I propose to merge the York Mills article into this one. They describe the same place and are virtually identical articles. IMO Hoggs Hollow is the more popular name so I propose to keep the Hoggs Hollow article as the remaining article. Atrian 17:10, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree with this proposal.

Having lived in Hoggs Hollow my whole life, I know that "York Mills" refers to a much larger area than the specific Hoggs Hollow. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.136.210.162 (talk) 15:36, 7 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree with this proposal.

The articles may be the same. The places are not the same. While Hoggs Hollow may now form part of York Mills, it is not York Mills. 99.234.175.200 05:47, 2 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I also disagree with this proposal. I know the area very well as I have explored it quite extensively. Hogg's Hollow is adjacent to York Mills they are two completely separate and distinct areas. It is completely cut off from the York Mills neighbourhoods. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.231.30.155 (talk) 01:49, 20 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
