Jplatt39 is a middle-aged postmodern slacker who currently lives in Rhode Island. His interests include, but aren't limited to, science fiction and fantasy, comic books, literature and fine art. He began contributing because he was upset by how many fringe science fiction and fantasy figures were being discussed solely in terms of their contributions to the genre, when people like Philip Wylie, Leo and Diane Dillon and Alfred Coppel were famous for so much more. He does not believe in objectivity, and contributes reluctantly because he is not comfortable with what is considered a reasonable style. Please help him out by taking an aggressive approach to revising his articles.
