Untitled[edit]

The material that was at Reba was moved to Reba McEntire/Reba. This was to preserve the history for copyright reasons (as it was explained to me). RJFJR 05:52, Feb 3, 2005 (UTC)

Reba - CW[edit]

Here's what I got from TV.com for a much better link to the show's renewal: http://www.tv.com/tracking/viewer.html?tid=98198&ref_id=1409&ref_type=101

There is no cliffhanger for season 5! And how come it says it in the past tense? They've already shown 4 episodes in the new season.

Quotes[edit]

The quotes section is not really substantative enough to be on this article, let alone warrant its own section. -user:cdelosr1

This title is really long and when you think about it, somewhat unnecessary due to the briefness of what I am about to say[edit]

There are a lot of good quotes, but they haven't been added yet. Give it a chance.

running gags[edit]

i suggest a section for running gag should be added. some are frequent use of the shows theme song in the dialogue, "I'm a Survivor", brock being tan, barbara jeans insane past, cheyanne being on the drill team not a cheerleader, kira's sarcastic humor, and/or reba's opposition to barbara jean and physical humor poking fun at barbara jean. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Effortles (talkcontribs) 03:18, 29 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Yeah, I think a running gag section would be a good idea. and I think the daughter's name is spelled Cheyenne. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.247.244.120 (talk) 00:54, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Van & Cheyenne[edit]

On Sunday, April 13, 2008, it was announced that there might be a possible spin-off of "Reba" called "Van & Cheyenne" where the young married couple (Van & Cheyenne) move in their own home and raise their two children in a different part of Texas. Filming began in March 2008. The show is set to premiere September of 2008 due to Garcia and Howey`s shows in which they quit in order to do the spin-off. The show will be on CBS, which the creators thought would increase the shows popularity unlike Reba which was on The WB and had very poor ratings.

I have searched online and found no source for this... can someone remove it or add a citation needed tag? Is it true? It'd make me a very happy person :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.245.168.124 (talk) 05:57, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I found the text of an interview with Reba McIntyre discussing this. She said that she had planned to write for the series, and executive-ly produce (be an executive producer), but that a future for the series was unlikely. The pilot for this series was halted due to the death of a relative of one of the stars (that's all she would say about it), and that many of the writers pulled out after the thespian (actor or actress) returned. The final nail in the coffin came on August 14th, when the 12 or 13 minutes of footage was sold (some of it used in a Reba inspired music video, but most of it stocked). If there is going to be a series, it isn't going to be any time soon, but yes, it existed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.247.244.120 (talk) 01:04, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Season4dvd.jpg[edit]

Image:Season4dvd.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:22, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just a suggestion[edit]

Rather than the very big characters section, would List of Reba characters work better? Joiz A. Shmo (talk) 21:45, 28 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Very good idea. JPJMendes (talk) 15:37, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I put the split section template on that section JPJMendes (talk) 15:50, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reba to return for mroe seasons[edit]

tehre have been rumros goign around on Cw website indicated the show may come back due to the Cw may end up disabandeant if there ratings dont come up —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.224.59.58 (talk) 22:53, 20 June 2008 (UTC) reba is one girl. love her fan —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.31.120.101 (talk) 00:54, 16 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Synopsis Section[edit]

I think the tense of the following sentence, appearing at the end of the synopsis section, needs to be changed - this show was cancelled in 2007 so present tense is incorrect in this situation:

"Since the fifth season, Van and Reba have been real estate partners." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.41.192.218 (talk) 17:14, 7 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dates[edit]

There is a serious problem with dates in this article. I hope whoever considers the article "theirs" can straighten it out. I'd be worried I'd make it worse.

The date 1993 appears twice for the year the series started; from other internal evidence that appears to be incorrect, it appears to have started in 2001. I'm almost sure enough of that to replace those 2 instances.

But WHAT is up with the chart on Awards? Not only does one of those say 1993, but the next few are also in the 1990s, when (if the 2001 date is correct) the show did not even exist yet. If, in fact the show started in 2001, the vast majority of that entire Awards chart is wrong, and it'd take extensive research into the various awards programs to figure out what's right instead.

Something isn't jiving. 1993 can't be the right start date if 2007 is the end date and 6 is the number of (continuous) seasons. But WHERE did all those supposed 1990s awards come from? 66.169.152.239 (talk) 05:54, 14 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"International success" grammar[edit]

Would somebody fix the sentence about the Czech Republic? It seems like the part about the premiere should read better than it does...

Reba / Barbara Jean / Melissa[edit]

Would LOVE to know where they got "Barbara Jeans" Wardrobe!! Loved all the clothes she appeared in on the show, especially a jacket that had butterflies on it and when she started loosing all of the weight!! She looked really Great Stephani55 (talk) 16:22, 10 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
