Rabbit etc.[edit]

Good question. There's been similar interest for cats, dogs, and horses. You might want to take a look at them as a whole encyclopedic section: Wikipedia:WikiProject cat breeds, cat breeds, list of cat breeds, etc. Cat and dog articles are more organized than the horse articles, but I'm sure there is something to be learned there, too. The folks who have organized such projects will probably have better info than I about organizing a breed project, but I'm more than willing to help out as I can. I'll watch this space for replies. - UtherSRG 19:38, Mar 23, 2005 (UTC)

Way cool! Erm, and just off topic, do new posts *always* go above old posts? So, newer higher? Didn't really find anything obviously stated about that. Anyway -- I will take a good look at those pages. I think it would be great, but what matters more right now is what's already posted under the diet section of rabbit. Since it's still a 'new' type of household pet (vet offices still place it under exotic at times), there's still a lot of bad information being propogated. So, what's up is most important. Different breeds is kinda like the icing on the cake. Again, thanks so much, and I'll look at those pages and see what we can do! Yay! Enabled! --Metavurt 21:01, 23 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Actually, new posts typically go below old. Have fun! Oh, list of rabbit breeds already exists and looks to have some good starter info on the listed breeds. But then, I don't know a Lop from and Angora.... *grins* - UtherSRG 21:15, Mar 23, 2005 (UTC)
Awesome! Cool, got the idea now on order of posts. And for your info, you'll find a photo of a Lop on my wife's site: Moxie and Niles. Moxie (Lop) is on the left and Niles (Dutch) is on the right. Your knowledge of Rabbit Breeds has just increased. *smirk* - Ok, I'm done for the day with play. Must work. Wah. - --Metavurt 21:48, 23 Mar 2005 (UTC)
I moved a significant portion of rabbit (the domesticated part) to European Rabbit, since only that species is domesticated. I left behind a pointer as such, though. - UtherSRG 00:41, Mar 24, 2005 (UTC)
