The irony[edit]

The recent edit by an Urawa fan stating that Marinos cannot attract a following of any decent size needs to check the average crowds for the first tens years of their own beloved club. For the last five years YFM's average crowd has been comparable to or better than that which Urawa could average. Proof, if it's ever needed, that value-laden, bias prose has no place in an encyclopdia. ShizuokaSensei 05:10, 1 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting that Yokohama F Marinos can't even make half of Urawa's average attendance now that Urawa have a large enough stadium though. You can play with figures and ignore the komaba factor, but the proof is that Yokohama and Urawa now both have huge stadiums and Urawa outdraws Yokohama over 2 to 1. Shocking for a team which is one of the best in J-League history isn't it !! I notice, that the Nissan backing and free tickets comments have been removed. No doubt, had this been the Reds, you would have slotted it into the first paragraph. Proof that you have a vendetta and have manipulated the Urawa Reds page. The article on Urawa Reds is no longer a fair reflection of the club but one which has been tainted by a rival fan. (86.143.54.177 14:15, 1 October 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Oh, my days. Please get over yourself. You starting to sound just like a Man Utd fan. THERE IS NO VENDETA AGAINST URAWA REDS. The problem is you appear totally unable to accept anything which doesn't play up to the myth of Urawa: The biggest / best / most impressive team in Asia / the world / the universe. This is an encyclopedia. Not your vessel to rave about how great you think your team is. The information you put on here about Nissan employees is valid if you can back it up with sources. Just chucking in information with such value-laden, opinionated language like you did is never going to last two minutes in an encyclopedia. The Urawa page was protected, not by me, but by an administrator. They recognised what you were adding was not of a neutral point of view, it was value-laden and full of meaningless and impossible to prove language like "best fans in Japan" "most loyal" etc. You also removed information intended to put current successes into context. As such an obvious and partisan Urawa fan, you're probably one of the last people who could be relied aponn to write an impartial encyclopedia article on the team.
