I REALLY think we should make it a point to figure out acceptable nomenclature -- especially when dealing with a period where a gajillion people have similar names. Why isn't this Johann Sigismund of Prussia, or Johann Sigismund Hohenzollern? Am I the only one who finds this kind of nomenclature unworkable? JHK

I agree. There should be standards for the different time periods and regions. In the meantime, feel free to redirect to the nomenclature of your choice. -- Eloquence
