New Suburbs[edit]

New 'Burbs article, probably needs a little cleanup which I'll get to....Rx StrangeLove 03:00, 30 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Chronology[edit]

World War III/Change Agent came out before their first album "In Combo". So I was a step forward, but from thier initial 9 song 7" debut album. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.73.103.154 (talk) 18:17, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

8018 The Overtones: Red Checker Wagon 7" single (Twin/Tone)
8019 Curtiss A: "Afraid" 7" single (Twin/Tone)

I am listening to a tape I make for myself of 45s which has WWIII and the Overtones single on it right now. I used to own the orginal Suburbs EP, but I lost that. Change Agent is like A Hard Days Night in that it starts with an arresting guitar chord, then the drums kick in and they never stop. That song and Prehistoric Jaws were my favorite Suburbs songs. At that point they were clearly a punk rock band, but that was short lived, wasn't it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.73.103.154 (talk) 19:02, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bruce Allen's death[edit]

The City Pages blog which earlier announced Bruce Allen's death now includes this correction:

Editor's note: Based on information received from several sources, City Pages initially reported that Bruce Allen passed away this morning. We regret this error. Our sympathies go out to Bruce and his friends and family on this sad day.

It's very sad, but let's not rush to put his epitaph here. MFNickster (talk) 04:40, 8 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
