Hello eric, Very good biased article about Hugo Chavez. Where have you got the information from? Are you venezuelan? do you know Universidad Simon Bolivar? if you do you would realize that chavez never went to that university. That is just the smallest of the mistakes you can read there. Hope this is not a waste of time of my part.

Such umotivated cuts by anonymous user in controversial article are highly suspect. Do you have sources ?

Since you mention you're new here, and don't have a user: page yet, I figured I'd inaugurate it with a hearty welcome to Wikipedia. Glad you're enjoying what you've seen so far. If you've got any questions at all, feel free to ask; old-timers like me just love showing off their knowledge by answering them :) Bryan

Eric, we love you. Please stay with us forever. And, while you're at it, can you give us some info? Annie

I'll get you started.

Where do you live, Lord and Master?

What's your occupation?

What are your interests?

Do have any outside links to share?

A long time ago I've read the book.

please look at Racial characteristics. I just did some basic NPOVing but I believe the article is beyond hope -- please look at the original version too. I think it is just someone's atempt to do an end-run around the race article. Slrubenstein

Hello, Ericd

I like the article on Jean-Marie Le Pen. It is much more neutral as the one on the french wikipedia (where I contribute) which is (imho)... I can't find my words in english. In french: plus laudatif qu'objectif.
I'll look on a french/english dictionnary and come back.

More laudative than objective
Alvaro 00:58 23 May 2003 (UTC)

Merci... BTW I am French. The article is still very incomplete it lacks for instance the (in)famous "Durafour crématoire". I was criticized as being non-neutral, I must say it's not easy to deal with this article I've tried to write some facts with references and avoid as much as possible judgement. But with Le Pen facts will give a rather negative feeling. Strangeless it seems nobody has found positive facts to balance the article. Ericd 01:20 23 May 2003 (UTC)

HI Eric -- DId you read the compromise version I put on the List of French monarchs? I tried to make it clear that the Merovingians are often considered French Kings and why, but then tried to explain why they weren't. I appreciate your attempt to make things more neutral and just wanted to bring it out a bit more whay there are these two viewpoints. Jacques changed that version -- it was too wordy, but I think pretty accurate. JHK

HI Eric -- important message!

Bravo Eric pour ta rapide traduction de la page François Truffaut ! Je viens toutefois d'en rajouter un peu sur la page française... Bon courage! Forlane 23:06 4 Jul 2003 (UTC)

Google est bien pratique ! Ericd 01:08 5 Jul 2003 (UTC)

Hi Eric,

re World War II I have added a number of images:

  1. Churchill, Roosevelt and Stalin (Are you sure that is Yalta? I think Yalta was where Truman was president but I could be wrong. It is years since I studied WWII. In any case, I strongly suspect this image is fair use. It is a historic photo being used in a non-commercial project for educational purposes. Putting on the side of a Corn Flakes box would be a different matter! :-) )
  2. Mussolini
  3. de Gaulle
  4. Hirohito

I think taken together they balance the article and personalise it for kids looking for a bit of history. Is that OK with you? FearÉIREANN 00:20 11 Jul 2003 (UTC)

I'm OK but read my comment on Hirohito in World War II. This is Yalta and Roosevelt. There wasn't any other meeting between Stalin and theAnglo-Americans if you look carefully you will see than Roosevelt looks very tired, he died soon after Yalta... Churchill and many historian considers that the bad health of Rooselvelt and the fact that sltalin insisted for a meeting in USSR disbalanced the negociation in favor of the Russians. Ericd 00:26 11 Jul 2003 (UTC)

Salut, Eric.

Do you have any idea how to get people to agree that the Le Pen article is NPOV? I can't find any way to make it more careful than it is already... Miguel

Salut de nouveau,

I think the problem is not that people sympathise with Le Pen. I think we are all trying to be extra-careful because he's still alive and politically active, and because we are writing about someone we don't like, and that makes us be suspicious of our own motives. -- Miguel

We all write about article about things that interest us because we like or because we dislike... I am extra careful I've read the whole bio of le Pen on the FN site this is mainly bullshit and propaganda with very few content. I still wait for contribution from someone that is sympathetic with le Pen and wants to play the game of NPOV.

Do you think Third Reich better or worse now? Thanks. Ark30inf 20:02, 28 Sep 2003 (UTC)

Seems much better now. BTW Wolfran is a serious case. Ericd 22:59, 28 Sep 2003 (UTC)

Eric what is the change you have made to Adolf Hitler? I can't find it. Adam 00:30, 29 Sep 2003 (UTC)
