It seems that a date has been forgotten. --Youssef 03:19, 28 Oct 2003 (UTC)

What date? -- Taku 03:41, Oct 28, 2003 (UTC)

It is written that he has been twice prime minister, but there are no dates for the second time he was prime minister. -- Youssef

Facts[edit]

It says that he lost the party's secretary general job to Takeo Fukuda "when Eisaku Sato became prime minister in 1965", but it is not so simple: Sato became prime minister in 1964, not 1965, and Tanaka was secretary general between 1965-66 and 1968-71, and Fukuda between his terms. Cf. ja.wiki or Mark Weston, Giants of Japan, Kodansha International, pp. 228-229. Also, it says that the party presidential election (when he was elected party president) was in 1971, but it was on July 5 1972.--Mycomp (talk) 13:02, 23 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
