There are no reliable sources that indicate such thing.--GDuwenHoller! 19:36, 21 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Associated acts.[edit]

Reference should be made to Willie's recording with Townes Van Zandt. Specifically Marie in 2001 92.23.137.27 (talk) 12:46, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

$35,000 dollars[edit]

$35,000 dollars is redundant. 2600:1700:6E0:9940:6124:96D2:D275:4DED (talk) 18:35, 22 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

What part of the article are you referring to? Matthew Tyler-Harrington (aka mth8412) (talk) 12:07, 4 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Rock and Roll ???[edit]

Country HOF definitely. Why Rock and Roll? If he was so influential in that why does the lead not mention influence on rock at all? 70.161.8.90 (talk) 22:57, 3 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You will need to take up that question with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, not with Wikipedia. Cullen328 (talk) 20:03, 13 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
As a small comment notice that it is not mentioned on the lead, but rather on a line that appears as "current stuff" from the 2020s, and it given as much importance as a Grammy. Prominent enough to be mentioned, but not rally a career-defining moment.--GDuwenHoller! 17:23, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hell yes shun rock on 🤘🏽 2600:6C60:5800:2CFA:E182:AEF7:82D9:B3D2 (talk) 04:29, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Renee Butts[edit]

Why is there no mention of his first child Renee Butts? Willie has acknowledged her and her grandchildren as his "great grandchildren" She was born in 1953 and died in 2017. Heres one link:

Hello, Heddingite. Our best practice is to mention notable children and grandchildren. Where is the evidence that Renee Butts is notable? Cullen328 (talk) 06:18, 13 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for noting that Heddingite. By now I added some lines regarding it. I would consider it notable enough since besides it being covered by People magazine, it was addressed by Nelson himself on his autobiography Roll Me Up and Smoke Me When I Die: Musings from the Road. It is after all biographical information that I'd call relevant. But I would like indeed to hear further opinions regarding if we should keep it or not.--GDuwenHoller! 17:18, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. The top of the personal life still lists seven children not eight. I have been using Wikipedia since it started, I donate but am TERRIBLE at editing. Thank you for helping add this piece to his entry. Heddingite (talk) 22:10, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Heddingite: Corrected. Consider going over to Wikipedia:Sandbox if you feel like trying to learn or improve editing (while a look at Wikipedia:Manual of Style may also help). Everything is practice. And when it comes to donations, probably 99% of the users do not donate nor contribute, so it makes a big difference. Even though if Wikipedia's neutrality policy has been recently majorly compromised in certain topics, it still is a great resource for information if you don't head over to read about current controversial events nor politics.--GDuwenHoller! 16:40, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I think I will! Thanks again! Heddingite (talk) 07:16, 21 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
