Talk:Microsoft .NET Passport

This should probably be in the article, but I don't know/remember enough to write something comprehensible. It may not even be exactly true, the way I remember it. There used to a site called www.firefly.com, basically a chat server/message boards. Around 1997 or 1998 it came up with the Passport idea, and soon afterwards Firefly was bought out by Microsoft, which wanted to integrate the Passport idea itself (as it has now done). Does anyone else know anything about this? 1997 seems so long ago, I can't really remember what happened on Firefly. Adam Bishop 14:32, 12 Sep 2003 (UTC)
