PS: I don't necessarily agree with this...but when a copyright violation notice is placed, it's not supposed to be taken out unless it's proven to NOT be a copyright violation (apparantly there's no exceptions to this). For the future, please rewrite articles at Page title/Temp. Thanks!

Categories

Hi..in case you didn't know, when you categorize an article about a person, you should actually use the format [[Category:Topic|Surname, First name]] rather than just [[Category:Topic]]. If you don't do the extra step, the article files incorrectly on the Category page (eg. Clive Doucet files under C instead of D. This also applies to articles whose title begins with The, by the way. Universities in Alberta

I'm wondering why you changed the categorization of Alberta's universities from Category:Universities in Alberta back to Category:Alberta universities. Apart from the fact that it should be "Albertan universities" (to specify that they are universities in Alberta) and the fact that "Universities in Alberta" just sounds better, the standard (yet not prescribed) format of categorizing universities/colleges in jurisdictions is "Universities in jurisdiction" (e.g., Category:Universities and colleges in New York, Category:Universities and colleges in New Jersey, Category:Universities and colleges in Massachusetts, Category:Universities and colleges in Ireland, Category:Universities in Quebec, Category:Universities in Singapore, Category:Universities in Lithuania etc., etc.) Darkcore 05:14, 25 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Students' Society of McGill University

As it now stands, this article would not survive a VfD vote. It would certainly be voted to be merged into the McGill article. The subject is not notable for its own article. I have merged the information into the McGill article (minus the copyright violation), so let's just leave the redirect as it is. RickK 07:33, Nov 13, 2004 (UTC)

I think it should be it's own article - that is as it may be. But previous votes on student organizations have been to merge into the main article. You might want to review the history of the massive quantity Dartmouth College articles which all got merged there. RickK 07:38, Nov 13, 2004 (UTC)

You removed my edits on Canadian Federation of Students a mere 15 minutes later when what was presented were FACTS, and NOT PERSONAL OPINIONS.

That page does not belong to you even though your numerous edtis only led to a page with 3 short paragraphs in length.

So a 30% increase in tuition fees in one year does not sound like skyrocketing to you?

the average tuition in BC has doubled over the past 4 years when the BC Liberals removed the tuition freezes set by NPD, I don't know about Ontario but it doesn't mean that if your province does not have increasing tuition fees others won't have it either.

And HOW CAN A RESULT BE AN OPINION?!~? a result is a factual information that will only materialize after something have happened. It was written in the CFS member handbook that the tuition fees have been frozen this year for those provinces listed. — LegolasGreenleaf 04:53, Nov 15, 2004 (UTC)

This hospital, constructed in 1974, is not considered to be notable from User:Gtabary point of view, likewise the Johor hospital Medical Specialist Centre and Wisma Maria, in which the hospital is in it. Do you think, if Medical Specialist Centre and the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario, who are in similar status, to be kept or deleted? If your hospital were to be kept, then the Medical Specialist Centre should be kept. Like yours, it is not a stub, in fact, it is a proper and wikified article. User:Chan Han Xiang

Spinboy, people adding things because they disagree with the article is not vandalism, not even if they don't have the decency to discuss it. Always refer people to the talk page first before reverting, and politely refer to the three revert rule. I appreciate your efforts, but always try to assume good faith first and open a discussion. I agree this should not be treated as vandalism. I'm trying to engage User:Asexual same-sex marriage in building an article devoted to Asexual same-sex marriage which I might add is an issue that has come up over the civil partnership bill (UK leglislation). Hey, nobody said building an encyclopedia was easy. :-) For the record, I do believe we are unlikely to get anything constructive out of this little revert war, but we can always try. If you find it hard to stay cool when the editing gets hot, it's OK to step back a moment and let the more patient (or naive, if you prefer :-) people try their hand. I promise none of us will stand for outright vandalism or reverting. Article Licensing

Hi, I've started a drive to get users to multi-license all of their contributions that they've made to either (1) all U.S. state, county, and city articles or (2) all articles, using the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike (CC-by-sa) v1.0 and v2.0 Licenses or into the public domain if they prefer. The CC-by-sa license is a true free documentation license that is similar to Wikipedia's license, the GFDL, but it allows other projects, such as WikiTravel, to use our articles. Since you are among the top 1000 Wikipedians by edits, I was wondering if you would be willing to multi-license all of your contributions or at minimum those on the geographic articles. Over 90% of people asked have agreed. For More Information:

To allow us to track those users who muli-license their contributions, many users copy and paste the "{{DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual}}" template into their user page, but there are other options at Template messages/User namespace. "Canadian politics" template

Hey Spinboy, there is a problem with the template you create in that it creates a huge gap in the text in the articles in which it is placed. See Prime Minister of Canada for example. I am unsure what the problem is and I tried to fix it but was unsuccessful :S

Also, I wonder if you would object if I redesigned it? I think it would make more sense if it was broken down by branch of government and also, I don't think the Deputy PM warrants being on there as that position has no seniority over other ministers. -- Jord 06:09, 11 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Stub tags and 'External Links'

I've noticed you changing various stub templates to other stub templates and I was wondering if there is some sort of overarching plan for the stub templates. The artice on the Supreme Court of the Yukon Territory was just edited and I noticed that you've edited it 3 times in the last 3 weeks. The first time to capitalize "Links", the second time to change msg-stub to Template:Canada-stub and the third time to change the Template:Canada-stub to Template:Canada-gov-stub as well as uncapitalize the "links". I'm all for standardizing and fixing syntax and so I was wondering if there is some latest standard for these sorts of things so that the pages don't have to keep getting changed.
