Sorry, I missed identifying this article as a stub.

As for should it be a part of the Wikipedia, I would think yes. I have been compiling the List of Manitoba School Divisions and Districts with the eventual aim of having every school in the Province listed in the Wikipedia. I feel that the 14,000 educators and their 160,000 students in Manitoba could provide a great deal of worthwhile contributions to the Wikipedia.

The long-term developmental goal here would be, it is hoped, that by begining with making open source contributions of their own about their own schools and communities, these same students will continue to use and contribute to the Wikipedia as they develop into adults.

I have also been soliciting the assistance of The Manitoba Teachers' Society in achieving promotion of the Wikipedia, and the sections on schools in particular, to achieve this end. Weaponofmassinstruction 04:13, 10 Jan 2005 (UTC)
