I have the clip here, and I'm pretty sure the instrumental music is not the traditional song Hine E. I've listened a few times and just can't hear it as that song. I have removed that reference from the page. Oliver Lineham 11:34, 2004 Dec 21 (UTC)

Mr. Lineham, I suggest that you find the clip and see if you can upload it onto Wikipedia. I have been told that the song played in the background was Hine e Hine, but I respect your views if you say it's not. Scott Gall 09:26, 26 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Hi Scott, I have the clip here (it's where I got the screenshots from), but I don't think uploading the entire thing would be considered fair use. Anyway, I've listened to a non-instrumental version of the song and guess what? You're right. I'm wrong. I have restored the Hine e Hine reference in its near original form as I don't think authors referring to themselves in articles is a good idea. :-) Oliver Lineham 11:14, 2004 Dec 26 (UTC)

Does anyone know the name of the TV series TVNZ created in 1989 featuring the TV Kiwi. It wasn't animated but instead had puppets of TV Kiwi and the cat and they lived and worked in a country garage. Each week the show featured a different New Zealand celebrity. There was only one season of this show screening right at the end of 1989. 202.169.220.196 01:16, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't remember that, but I do have an illustrated book called "TV Kiwi and the Cat" that was produced in the mid 1980's (found it on Trade Me). Also remember the TV Kiwi and Cat used to show up in the late 80's/early 90's during childrens programmes, doing various things around the TV 2 logo.

Finally, the music that played with the Breakdown Kiwi was a song called "I Think It's Gonna Work Out Fine" by Ry Cooder, from his album "Bop Till You Drop". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 146.171.254.65 (talk) 05:00, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
