General aims

• Keep a logical structure whereby standard Spanish grammar is described in some detail, with deviations from this fully described in the proper section.
• Make proper references to traditional grammatical terminology, but favour the terminology and procedures of modern linguistics.
• Follow Real Academia recommendations, but making sure to specify where this may deviate from usage.
• Use italics for Spanish, and normal type for English.
• Convert lists to tables where appropriate
