A Rough Initial Guide[edit]

I guess I need to settle on a template. After this is a achieved I will bulk load other school details if I can find them. In the mean time go ahead and add your school (even if it is closed). Add opening dates if known, and the school URL.

I believe it is important for the location is listed by orginal county, (counties were merged into newer larger ones in the 1960's). The objective if the school table becomes too large that I can subdivide it automatically into something more coherent and localised.

Corrected spelling of Whakahoro, where I taught in 1947. School became ungraded after that when roll dropped to 5, but stayed open for a few years. Will seek confirmation of that. Stanwrite 22:14, September 8, 2005 (UTC)
