Reception[edit]

The reception needs to be rewritten... at least the cons section as alot is comes off as personal opinion despite there being a number of real reviewers with actual cons. Stabby Joe (talk)

The article itself states that "the events passed by with little notice from the public at large". Overall, it seems like a "much ado about nothing" situation that can easily be summed up in several paragraphs in the main article, if that.

Ultimately, Oblivion remained extremely popular despite the M rating, and Skyrim got an M rating from the get-go and became one of the most popular games of all time, making it dubiously relevant as a controversy.

I should add that the FAC for the article was very basic and lax, being done in 2007 when standards were far lower than they are now, so it shouldn't be a reason to retain the article simply because of that. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ () 15:12, 18 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Merge per nom. The basic details can easily be summarized and covered here. -- ferret (talk) 19:13, 18 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge. This is a relic of an older time in WP:VG's history when we spent a lot of time seeing if we could without asking if we should. Textbook molehill mountains. There's some meat here to merge, but not that much. Axem Titanium (talk) 18:56, 20 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Merge. The change of rating post-release was unusual, but not notable enough to warrant an entire article. A healthy sub-section in the main article is sufficient to cover the situation. TomFitz77 (talk) 00:42, 24 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Cast?[edit]

I read some of the voice actor names in the plot section of the article, but is there another one with the entire Oblivion cast? I specifically want to see who voices Sheogorath, if it's no trouble. Triviatronic9000 (talk) 16:44, 23 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
