Eindtermen[edit]

This is a short article in Dutch about a Dutch word that is specific to Flemish secondary education. I'm willing to move it to the Dutch wikipedia, but I don't think it belongs here.

In case someone is interested, here's a translation:

Eindtermen are the minimal goals that pupils of Flemish primary or secondary education have to reach after a certain period.
Actually, eindtermen are 'development goals', because they emphasize respecting everyone's rate of development. Society expects certain deadlines however, so there are ends of eindtermen for every pupil. These are 12, 14, 16, and 18 [I think the numbers refer to ages, but i'm not completely sure].

My vote is delete by the way. Sietse 19:38, 28 Oct 2004 (UTC)

  • I'd say that it sounds encyclopedic, if a bit short... either way, it's not in English, so it should be moved to the Dutch wiki, if it isn't deleted. Mo0 20:14, 28 Oct 2004 (UTC)
    • I have already copied the article to the Dutch Wikipedia: nl:Eindtermen. I don't mean that this article is unencyclopedic or that there's something wrong with it. What I'm trying to say is that it should be deleted from the English namespace, since it's essentially a definition of a Dutch word. Sietse 20:36, 28 Oct 2004 (UTC)

  • Keep or redirect to an article about the Flemish education system. Just because it's foreign doesn't make it invalid, and I feel that an entire education system is notable. --Improv 15:22, 29 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Never mind, it has already been speedy deleted. Sietse 15:42, 29 Oct 2004 (UTC)
