Thsant or Thiago Teixeira Santos is a Computer Science Ph.D. candidate at Institute of Mathematics and Statistics (IME) of University of São Paulo. His research is developed at Laboratory for Technologies of Interaction (LaTIn) under Professor Carlos Hitoshi Morimoto.

He received his bachelor degree in 2000 and his master science degree in 2004, both from Computer Science Department of IME-USP. In graduation, Thiago work on the Shot Boundary Detection problem for digital video.
