Art category organisation[edit]

Hello all,

I'm suddenly seeing a lot more activity in this category. I think we have already reached the stage where it is beneficial to subcategorize by nationality. Any suggestions welcome.

More generaly, we could probably use some coordination on organising the various arts and artists categories. I sugges we pick up further discussion on Category talk:art -- Solipsist 20:10, 6 Aug 2004 (UTC)

It would be great if all the painters in the Category:Lists_of_painters be added in this category. NoiZy 07:33, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree. Painters that already are categorized in "Painters by nationality", and "Painters by period" should not belong directly to "Category:Painters". Catz 11:04, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
