Where should redirect point?[edit]

I am not sure this article is right. I thought the high school / secondary school is called Raffles Junior College (currently, a substub), and Raffles College was a post-secondary academy that became the "Singaporean half" of University of Malaya in 1949, then National University of Singapore in 1959. Can someone confirm this, please ? -- PFHLai 20:44, 2004 Sep 4 (UTC)

According to the National University of Singapore page, that's correct--Raffles College merged with King Edward VII College of Medicine to form the University of Malaya in 1949; in 1959 the UM divided into the University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur and University of Malaya in Singapore, and in 1962 the University of Malaya in Singapore became the National University of Singapore. Thus, the NUS is the current successor to Raffles College.
Accordingly, it really looks to me like Raffles College ought to redirect to National University of Singapore, as it had done until last year. Any objection if I change the redirect? -- Narsil (talk) 21:10, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
