It is a good thing that was never added here. I think when we write the history section of Centerton, the wacky story of x-Mayor Ken Williams (aka Don LaRose) could possibly make a footnote in it. On it's own it is only a single old news item that is unfairly belittling to Centerton and should not be added to the town page until the entire article is written. The Don LaRose story might make a semi-interesting biography page if someone cared enough to write it, but I don't see that it is worth my time to research. Five years after the fact and few people around the area even remember the event. Just my two cents. --Traveler7 (talk) 09:32, 13 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Centerton AR POLICE brutality and falsification of truly happened once I was severely brutally assaulted and arrested! It was 11/05/approximately, 3:00 PM CST when incident took place! A quite, unfriendly middle-aged woman was outside when I was checking our mail; leaning against our car in our driveway she continued to glare at me! My Husband of 29 years and I had a major disagreement that's when I went across the street to check out mail and COOL OFF GETTING FRESH AIR; UNFRIENDLY NEIGHBOR LOADING & UNLOADING HER COX CABLE TRUCK BEHAVING QUITE PECULIAR; SHE CONTINUED TO LOOK IN MY DIRECTION! I was JUST wondering what IT was TRULY she kept glaring as though she was doing something wrong! My Husband of 29 years and I were having a great disagreement about Our 23 year old Son; I stayed outside cooling off! Next thing I see were 2 Centerton Police Cruisers pulling up by our driveway! Police officers, especially Office Wallace, nor Ron Youssey communicated to myself when I asked what was GOING on! Officer Alex Wallace charged toward me as I was going in my house! HOWEVER, OFFICER WALLACE, FORCEFULLY SLAMMED ME FACE DOWN ON OUR DRIVEWAY! NEXT GAUGING ALL HIS 250 lb.or MORE down on to me gauging with extreme force into my post-surgical total right hip replacement done in '2010' causing unbearable pain; I was crying inconsolably screaming for my Husband to come outside, repeatedly since I was so hysterical; he never came out to see what was happening TO ME! Officer Yousey,was told to get long leather strap from cruiser! Next both officers were pouncing on me and wrapped quite tightly leather strap around my ankles together; causing me significant pain where Alex Wallace's overweight body pinned I was completely unable to move because of force of his strength and Officer Ron assisted Youssey in ever so tightly wrapping leather strap from my ankles to my knees! Next they picked me up and tossed me into Police cruiser! I was so frightened and bewildered; and bruised up where Officers brutally(Yes, I mean brutally! P.O. ALEX WALLACE THEN HANDCUFFED MY WRIST CRISSCROSSED SO PAINFULLY, ABSOLUTELY UNNECESSARY! I WAS TOSSED IN OFFICER WALLACE WHO TRANSFERRED ME TO BENTON COUNTY JAIL and ONCE AGAIN HE COMPLETELY MISCONSTRUED HIS CLAIM TO SALLY PORT OF JAIL SAYING I WAS OUT OF CONTROL and NEEDED ASSISTANCE TO GET ME OUT OF HIS CRUISER! I WAS IN NO WAY HOSTILE, BELIGERANT,NOR WAS I COMBATIVE WITH ANY ONE Of POLICE OFFICERS FROM CENTERTON TO BENTON COUNTY JAIL! SEVERAL OFFICERS GRABBED MY ANKLES and GRABBED MY ANKLES TOGETHER BEFORE YANKING ME OUT OF CAR SINCE STRAP ON MY LOWER LEGS and INHUMANELY TIGHTED HANDCUFFS! SINCE OFFICER WALLACE TOLD JAILERS I was combative and out of control; Once I was yanked out of car landing on MY back; Everyone of these POLICE officers should EXPERIENCE what they made me suffer! I am on SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY WITH EXTREMELY LOW INCOME IT'S NO LAUGHING MATTER! I HAVE SUFFERED 25+ YEARS BATTLING MAJOR CLINICAL DEPRESSION with ANXIETY DISORDER, ADHD, MOST SEVERE, ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON SAID HE'S NEVER SEEN A PATIENT WITH COMPLETE DETERIORATION Of EITHER HIP JOINT! DO TO SEVERITY OF HIP JOINT DETERIORATION WHICH I WAS 45 YEARS OLD; HE ALSO INFORMED ME WERE I NOT TO PROCEED WITH RIGHT HIP REPLACEMENT; MY FEMUR HEAD COULD ANY GIVEN TIME SNAP IN TWO and PUNCTURE THROUGH MY ABDOMINAL WALL CAUSING SO MUCH DAMAGE TO MY ABDOMINAL ORGANS WITH INTERNAL BLEEDING! HYSTERECTOMY I HAD TO HAVE DUE TO GRADE 4 PROPLASPED UTERUS, HAD TO UNDERGO TOTAL HYSTERECTOMY in OCTOBER 2010! NEXT MY LEFT KNEE WAS COLLAPSING WITH SCHREECHING PAIN; JULY 2015, 2019 I HAD TO UNDERGO SECOND LEFT KNEE SURGERY, THIS TIME WAS LEFT KNEE REPLACEMENT SURGERY! FEBRUARY 2017 DUE TO SEVERE CERVICAL CANAL STENOSIS, AS WELL AS TWO HERNIATED DISKS NEEDING TO BE FUSED WITHOUT DELAY or I WAS INFORMED BY DR. BLANKENSHIP IT WOULD CAUSE ME TO BE QUADRIPLEGIC!" FORGIVE ME I AM VERY TIRED, SO SHOULD I LEFT OUT ANY PERTINENT INFORMATION; PLEASE CONTACT ME AS SOON AS YOUR ABLE! THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR TIME!
