Baseball 48s[edit]

Baseball reporter Steve Gardner drew a blank for great ballplayers who wore the number 48. http://www.usatoday.com/sports/baseball/comment/gardner/2001-06-21-gardner.htm ShutterBugTrekker 30 June 2005 22:15 (UTC)

Sexual positions[edit]

The note about the Japanese having 48 sexual positions was removed, with the explaination that I'd have to be more specific with that. My question is: how? Am I to list all 48 positions? XD. Anyways, here is the Japanese entry on the 48 positions. ja:四十八手 (アダルト用語). deadkid_dk 23:02, 30 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

2^4*q[edit]

What does this mean?

48 is the first number of the form

This is obvious if q is restricted to values at least 3, or to odd primes, etc, but what is the significance of this fact? --Aleph4 (talk) 19:35, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I removed it. If you want to put it back in, please explain the significance. --Aleph4 (talk) 15:54, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
