Okay, so theres my first 'article'. Its not exactly the history of vampirism, but its still good, at least I think...User:Darklestat

It's okay, though a little too much unneccesary non-vampire related background info. Also, the title was off: this article is a history of Vampire lore, not a history of Vampirism: Vampirism is a term that includes the activities of faux mortal wanna-be vampires who drink blood, wear dark clothes, and have convinced themselves that they are vampires. Vampirism would also include various blood-drinking customs among various cultures. Alexander 007 20:46, 31 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Sources and editing[edit]

This article is in dire need of citations to support its many claims. Of course a good portion of it needs to be edited out as irrelevant. It comes off sounding more like a school paper than an sncyclopedia article (in which case, the lack of sources is doubly inexcusible).

But then I also think it shouldn;t have been its own article anyway, as that's what Vampire is for. Hence the merge tags I added earlier. I'd go through here and fix errors/capitalization problems, etc., but since any relevant points here should be in the other article I'd rather not tackle those without a merge, as much of this one should disappear during merging. Yup, I agreed with the merge from when I first came across this article. It should be noted though that the Vampire article itself is not very well-knit and misses a lot of info. I'm going to focus on improving Vampire. Alexander 007 14:27, 1 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Merge? Are you insane? That page is already nearing a need for refactoring. I suggest we merge some of that content into here, or maybe delete this page and refactor it. Falcon June 29, 2005 20:16 (UTC)
