Proposed deletion of File:Traction TeamPage Product Logo.png[edit]

File media exists on Commons c:File:VfB Fortuna Chemnitz.png, this is a simple text logo, not a an F8 because the Commons file is 'free' license and this is tagged NFUR not needed.

Evidence for 'hypertext' origin in 1963?[edit]

In an edit https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Hypertext&diff=prev&oldid=405704307 you assert "Starting in 1963, Ted Nelson developed a model for creating and using linked content he called", giving a date which persists to the current version.

Howerver, I have failed to find any evidence of this. It is known he used the term at a talk at Vassar, in an ACM paper and in the IFD journal, but all these occurred in 1965 [sic]. The flyer for the Vassar talk is at [1]https://archive.org/details/TNsVassarInviteJan65 and is reproduced in Nelson's memoir Possiplex p.149. Barnet's Memory Machines also places this as first use of the term.

Intend to correct the article's date for Hypertext's origin from 1963 to 1965 but first want to ensure I'm not overlooked a previously unknown citation for earlier use. I don't doubt Ted had the general notion earlier but have found not evidence (from him directly or from other sources) of him using the term before the Vassar talk.

I assume this page is why the Ted Nelson page's lede describes hypertext as dating from 1963 when that page (correctly) cites 1965 albeit via his (more widely known of) ACM Conference paper of that year "Complex Information Processing".
