Should be moved to Bulleh Shah or something. "Bulla" is an informal form of the former.iFaqeer (Talk to me!) 01:15, Jan 5, 2005 (UTC)

iFaqeer, I don't boast of definitive knowledge about Bulla Shah. I only started this page for someone to expand. Also there are many differing accounts of the life of Bulla Shah by different scholars. According to what I know, Bulla Shah was originally called Shah Abdullah. Later he changed his name to Bulla Shah. He is affectionately referred by many as Bulleh Shah. —Durst (Talk)

I have grave doubts that the following is true: "He was the king of a town called Bulkh."

I'm positive that the following is not true: "Bulla's teacher on the path of enlightenment was a saint called Miyamir who lived near Lahore." His teacher (mursheed) was Inayat Khan.

Maybe no merge should be done till someone checks out and verifies the facts? Sarabseth 01:43, 16 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Moving article to Bulleh Shah[edit]

I'm moving this page to Bulleh Shah. I don't think there is any argument over the fact that his master was Shah Inayat Qadri (not Mian Mir) and that he was from somewhere in the Punjab (not Bulkh). Read this document for details. APNA is a pretty reliable source. --82.194.62.22 00:45, 20 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
