Another psychic question[edit]
(Not meaning that i'm psychic and asking a question...) So cool that you're filling in old history on this! Probably not stuff we could find on the web as easily. I'm enjoying reading them. Thanks for filling in the National Psychical entry--helpful. You could also respond to similar questions here or on the person's talk page to let us know what you did, e.g., "Different. Created entry. ~~~~." :-)
ANYway, in the National Laboratory of Psychical Research, the Publications list Harry *Prince* as author but there's a Harry *Price* as the founder--typo? I didn't want to change it myself just in case. Elf 21:39, 14 Feb 2004 (UTC)
Wiki standard formatting and such[edit]
Me again! Great to see another new user so productive. You might want to go back and take a look at the edits I've made to your new contributions, which were mostly:
- Wiki style is to include the bolded term as part of the first sentence, not as a separate preceding line, since the term will already appear as a title on the page.
- If the text is shorter than a couple of long paragraphs, that usually means there's a lot more info that *could* go there if someone had the info and the time. This is called a "stub"; you can include the text {{msg:stub}} to draw attention to the page and make it easier for searches for stubs to find (usually people with time to work on content).
- Try to identify terms that already exist in Wikipedia and add links. I've found that it doesn't take much time if I remember:
- Most noun articles are stored as singular rather than plural, hence e.g. [[shaman]]s finds the correct link to shaman but still leaves the plural in the text.
- Capitalization is (usually) important, but you can link to something that's a different form in your sentence by "piping"--looks like this: [[Religious conversion|converts]] links to the existing page Religious conversion but leaves the word converts in the text
- You can use the Show preview button at the bottom of the edit page to get a preview, including your guesses at links, click on the links to see whether they link anywhere, then use your browser Back button to get back to the edit page and adjust them, etc. until you're ready to Save page.

A tag has been placed on Paddy O'Byrne, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

The article Monen has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- This article is a disgrace to Wikipedia. It is patent nonsense, with absolutely no sources and Googling for "Momen" finds none of the ridiculous claims in the article.
This article started with one kind of nonsense in 2004 (saying that this is a Judaism term) in 2006 someone rewrote it to the current nonsense it contains. For the last 3 years, people gave it all the possible tags, "no sources", "disputed", etc., and still nobody fixed the article. It's about time to delete it. We've waited 3 years (or even 6, depending how you start counting) for the article to make sense, and clearly it never will.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist.
