Poorly formatted copy of an Edgar Allan Poe poem (from "Ligeia"), unattributed. Should be on Wikisource, if anywhere. See [1] and in-page search for 'she bade me repeat certain verses composed'. Grendelkhan 14:16, 2004 May 14 (UTC)

  • Keep the new part. To the text of the poem, I have added a stub about its source in The Fall of the House of Usher, and also about the Vincent Price movie. Reformat and Wikisource either the poem, or better yet, all of Usher. Smerdis of Tlön 14:43, 14 May 2004 (UTC)
    • The poem is from "Ligeia". While mention of "the unseen but palpable presence of the Conqueror Worm" is made in Usher, the poem itself only appears n Ligeia. Check the link. (Or tell me why [2] is the wrong or incomplete edition of Usher.) Grendelkhan
      • You are right. I knew "The Conqueror Worm" was in Usher, and that there was a long poem there, and confounded them. I have corrected the stub. Smerdis of Tlön 15:24, 14 May 2004 (UTC)

      • Wikisource this. "...unseen but palpable presence..." is from The Premature Burial, not in the written Usher; maybe it's in the movie, I don't know. Alcarillo 16:54, 14 May 2004 (UTC)
