- Comment: For me, it's a question of use by readers. Will someone have heard of this thing outside of its organizers? If so, then put it outside of the organizers' article. Will people have heard of the organizers outside of this event? If not, put their information in here. I.e. Put the information where it will be sought. If it's a news event, then we're not to cover it at all. If we put duplicate information out where it will never be sought, we're wasting hardware resources (whether it's a tiny amount or not) and not helping the users. That's why I'm such a maniac on cutting down on things like this and wishing them redirected or deleted after merger. Geogre 14:36, 26 Oct 2004 (UTC)
