English 6-2-0[edit]

The article says "On a trip to England, Robert L. Stevens, president of the Camden and Amboy (C&A) railroad, saw demonstrations of 6-2-0s on the railways there." I have done extensive reading on the English loco developments, but have never heard of an English 6-2-0. If someone has a reference I would be very pleased to hear about it. British and American sections contradict?[edit]

The British section is adamant only one locomotive was ever made. The American one uses the plural when discussing British 6-2-0s. Which is it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.254.202.225 (talk) 19:48, 26 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I think what Stevens saw was large-wheeled Cramptons eg probably 4-2-0 but I'll have to check up. 07:45, 27 February 2012 (UTC)
