Copy and paste moves[edit]

Please don't copy and paste moves. As a new user, you cannot yet move pages (but the feature should come up once you make a couple more edits) so could you wait till then? Copy and paste moves do not perserve the edit history which is required under GFDL. Thanks. Sasquatcht|c 23:26, 1 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I guess not really but it's always best just to fix it (because I'm slightly bored) but also making sure that you don't do anything further (a.k.a. copy and paste move a page with a long edit history). Anyways, more a matter of making sure that nothing else happens. Thanks for your time. Sasquatcht|c 00:08, 2 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

ALDS[edit]

That was a fast update. :) As you're at MIT, I'm guessing you're fairly heartbroken. All good things come to an end. You can take some consolation in that the White Sox are just playing very well right now, possibly like a "team of destiny", and that at least the Red Sox did not lose to the much-despised Yankees. d:) Wahkeenah 23:54, 7 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your help in undoing the stupid and repeated pronoun vandalism! ♥ GeekGirlSarah ♥ 16:59, 25 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Pet cat[edit]

When I came across your user name, I just had to write! We have a pet cat called Izzy, black with a little white patch on his chest. He's old and venerable now, nearly 18 years, and is getting skinny! He often gets called Izzycat, and my partner even uses the word as a password in a few places. It looked almost surreal to see the name appearing on Wikipedia! Happy Days! --King Hildebrand 12:25, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

David Rittenhouse Laboratory has been proposed for deletion. An editor felt the subject might not be notable enough for an article. Please review Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability for the relevant guidelines. If you can improve the article to address these concerns, please do so.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
