St Felix of Burgundy[edit]

Why is Felix of Burgundy listed as being celebrated by the Church of England? The Wiki article linked to his name does not specify this, and he appears in the Roman Martyrology and on the OCA calendar. --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 17:21, 8 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

IWCBD[edit]

this seems to be a private industry initiative. should be deleted.--Richardson mcphillips (talk) 16:28, 3 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Geoffrey Studdert Kennedy[edit]

Why was Geoffrey Studdert Kennedy removed from holidays and observations? His wiki article mentions that he is on the calendar of the Church of England and of the Episcopal Church of the US. --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 17:18, 11 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Holi[edit]

I added a line item for Holi, and then removed it because i noticed it doesn't necessarily fall on the 8th of March during every calendar year (although it does in 2023). I'm not sure what the preferred method of presenting these holidays with "movable" dates should be when there is a difference between the timing on the lunisolar calendar versus the Gregorian calendar from year to year. If anybody believes it should be added back into the list, the entry for 2023 could be restored:

  • Holi: also known as the Festival of Colours, Festival of Spring, and Festival of Love, one of the most popular and significant festivals in Hinduism[1][2]
